After years in the cycling industry as a professional rider, mechanic, and salesperson, Erik has found a home here at Wodify, where the culture and the product are more to his liking. A lifelong athlete, Erik enjoys that Wodify has allowed him to stay active while working alongside a team of like-minded coworkers who are all dedicated to making their customers’ lives better.
“I’ve always been passionate about fitness and was looking for a new opportunity. I expected Wodify to be a fun, challenging environment and it is. I love talking to gym owners about how we can help their business succeed. You have to be persistent. Most of the time it takes several phone calls and emails to get a busy gym owner to have an in-depth conversation!”
Erik’s job as a Sales Development Representative is to serve as the initial point of contact for inbound leads. He follows up with, qualifies, and books time with prospective customers, and works to increase the percentage of product demos that are successfully completed. Additionally, he works on outbound sales strategies to increase incremental sales opportunities.

When he’s not on a call with a gym owner, this Indiana native can usually be found in one of three places: on the baseball diamond where he plays in a competitive league, in a CrossFit gym during his lunch break, or on the couch watching college football. One place you won’t find him? In a bike race. “I’m done with that part of my life, and I’m happier for it. Wodify has given me a chance to develop a new set of professional skills and work with talented, fun people.”
