My name is Renato Gonçalves and I’m a Platform Operations Expert at Wodify.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Instituto Superior Tecnico in Lisbon, Portugal.
I was born in Alcantara, Lisbon, but I’ve spent most of my live in Oeiras, Porto Salvo.

I wanted to see what it’s like to work with the final customer, instead of as a consultant.My expectations were to create new processes and change the culture within the Development and Operations department. Overall, my expectations have been fulfilled.
I love the talented people, great offices, and transparent management. As a whole, Wodify is a company with a lot of potential.
The number of existing processes for such a small company. Even though we have a startup culture, things are pretty organized and run smoothly between teams and departments.

I love bicycles! I enjoy putting them together and fixing them. I especially enjoy mountain biking through the countryside.
I love what I do. I cannot imagine what my life without my work— like automating recurring tasks and building applications that make my life easier.Other than that, I love working with my hands. There’s nothing better than giving form to an idea.
My favorite cheat meal is spaghetti with tuna, tomato and garlic. For dessert, I’ll eat everything that’s leftover in the pan.

My favorite place I’ve ever travelled is the Midi Pyrenees in Southern France. There are mountains of green and white as far as the eyes can see — and not to mention beautiful waterfalls and tons of wildlife.
