Committing to an endless pursuit of those dreams no matter what it takes. Setting yourself apart from the rest and making a habit of doing things other people won’t.
As a company we take this journey one day at a time, one feature at time, one gym at a time.
It takes humility – Even when we stumble, when people look at us like we are crazy, we pick ourselves up, we stay focused, and we never stop hustling. It is this endless pursuit of bettering ourselves and our product that drives us.
We could not have taken this journey without the amazing CrossFit community that inspires us each and every day. Athletes who endeavor to do remarkable things! In honor of these men and women, we are proud to announce Wodify Warriors. Fearlessly authentic athletes who demonstrate the same discipline, drive, persistence, confidence, humility, and frankly… kill it everyday!
So here’s to our first Wodify Warrior, Kelsey Kiel, one of our former employees who has gone on to do amazing things.
K: My sister actually took me to my first CrossFit class. After playing collegiate soccer, I missed the competitive and challenging world of sports, so CrossFit ended up being the absolute perfect fit for me. It challenges me every single day to push myself both mentally and physically harder than I ever thought I’d be able to. I am constantly growing and learning, and no matter how much or how long anyone has been doing it – there’s still SO much to learn. That’s really what I love about the sport.
K: I am motivated every single day to be the best version of myself, to push myself, to learn and to make sure I am doing it as graciously as I can, and continue to be humble through it all. I want to prove to myself, more than anything, that I can set these goals and that I can reach them with dedicated, hard work. I am inspired by the people around me (physically, in the gym, but also my friends and family and the people I care about who are also chasing their dreams). I hope that if nothing else, I can inspire people to take risks, to believe in themselves and to chase those *crazy* dreams.
K: I typically train every day. Even if it’s an ‘active recovery’ day, it will have RomWod, or some form of cardio just to get my body moving a bit. But normal week days I get to the gym around 7:45-8:00am and train anywhere from 3-5 hours. It all depends on what is in store for that day, how efficient I am at getting stuff done, how involved each piece of programming is, etc. Weekends are a bit more flexible. Saturdays are typically longer days in the gym and then Sunday’s have been track days lately.
K: Favorite lift is definitely the clean. Learning to love the jerk as well! Or Front Squaaat
K: Hmm.. products… I always make sure I have my shoes to train in and my lifters, a roll of tape, and definitely a headband.
K: There are definitely a few that are up there. Obviously making it to the Games with my 5 favorite people was one of the proudest, most badass moments of my life. But I think the entire Regionals weekend takes the cake for me. It was the proudest I’ve ever felt as an athlete on any stage, and it was really cool to set some world records with my best friends.
