Beyond RXD, formerly known as Two-Brain Programming, has rebranded themselves in hopes of expanding their outreach further into the fitness community. They are a fitness programming company that offers workouts for both in-person and remote training with customizable options based on the clients’ goals. Read on to find out what co-owner, Brooks DiFiore, has to say about where they started, the thoughts behind the rebrand, and what they have to offer. They’ve been in the game for a while now, but they are just getting warmed up.

Q: How many years was your programming running as “Two-Brain Programming” before you decided to rebrand to Beyond RXD?

A: Beyond RXD had been operating as Two-Brain Programming for a little more than a year before we decided to rebrand.


Q: What was your reasoning for the rebrand?

A: We wanted to expand our reach outside of the Two-Brain Business family. One of the hurdles we struggled to overcome was the idea that our programming was only for TBB gyms. In talking with Chris Cooper, founder of Two-Brain Business, we decided the best way to remove this obstacle was a rebrand. 


Q: What has been the hardest part of the rebrand?

A: The rebrand was a much easier process than you might expect. The branding that we decided to use for the switch was created in 2017 when I was working on a different idea that never made it to the finish line.

When we decided to pull the plug on the original Beyond RXD, I loved the brand so much that I held on to the logo, domain name, and social media accounts, hoping I would get to use it in the future. And now, here we are.

Q: What was your key business challenge before using Wodify’s Workout Marketplace?

A: Wodify’s Workout Marketplace is a tremendous resource for gym owners who want to reclaim their most precious resource - time. It is incredibly time-consuming to not only write your gym’s programming, but also to upload it for your members to view workouts and record results. We are talking about spending hours each week to do it properly, and I’ve always felt that time could be better spent doing the things that matter the most.  

With Wodify’s Workout Marketplace, a gym owner or coach can spend less than $200/month and clear their schedule to build relationships, find new clients, spend time with family and friends, or even get a workout in themselves.


Q: What was your fitness background before launching your own programming?

A: [Co-Owner] Vincent Camps and I have years of experience in the fitness industry. Before opening my gym, Arsenal Strength, in 2015, I trained clients out of my parents’ garage, but cold Pittsburgh winters forced me to find a more permanent location - one that had heat.

Arsenal Strength officially opened its doors in the Spring 2015, and I’ve loved being a gym owner every day since. About six months before our opening, I found Chris Cooper and began working with him and what would eventually become, Two-Brain Business. In the Fall of 2019, I joined the Two-Brain Business mentoring team and began working with gym owners in January 2020, just a few months before the Pandemic hit. 

Vincent began personal training at a globo gym while obtaining his Master’s Degree in Wellness and Human Performance. Upon graduating, he began coaching small groups of Middle School/High School [students in] Sports Performance. After some time, he returned to one-on-one training and group fitness classes, primarily specializing in his work with endurance athletes. In late 2016, Vincent fell in love with CrossFit and has been leading group classes and training coaches ever since.

A: What advice would you give to someone who is starting their own programming business?

Q: You can have the best programming in the world, but if you can’t connect your service with clients, you won’t be able to make the impact you want in peoples’ lives. That goes for gym owners, online coaches, personal trainers, etc. 

You have to be able to build an audience and tell them how your service is going to fix their biggest problems. We were fortunate enough to start with an audience we could easily connect within the Two-Brain Family. Our focus now is creating content and refining our messaging to reach those outside our core audience.


Q: What has been your favorite memory since starting your own programming business?

A: Our favorite memories have been connecting with gym owners around the world and having the opportunity to see their members achieve incredible results through their hard work.


Q: What are your favorite types of workouts to program?

A: Our favorite types of workouts to program involve a lot of “grunt work”. As a former wrestler, Vincent finds that there is no better way to grow as an athlete and person than to push through the negative self-talk telling you to quit, and proving to yourself that you are capable of so much more than you think.


Q: If you want people to know one thing about Beyond RXD, what would it be?

A: We started Beyond RXD so that coaches and gym owners can spend more time focusing on things that matter. Their families, clients, health, etc. Our goal is to provide a high level of programming that can be easily customizable to fit the needs of any gym and get their clients the results they deserve.
