Do you Celebrate Small Victories?

Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out

Each of your athletes’ have their own fitness journeys and are in the gym daily working on getting one day closer to building a better version of themselves. At Wodify, we believe in building better athletes and celebrating their accomplishments one small victory at a time. One pull-up at a time, one double-under at a time, one workout as prescribed at a time.

When setting goals it is easy for athletes to take on lofty goals, like I want to lift like Camille Leblanc-Bazinet or Rich Froning or make it to the CrossFit Games. While it is great to have big dreams, you athletes can’t get there overnight. It is important that we enjoy the small celebrations that happen in the gym along the way. If we don’t, we create a lack of satisfaction overall for your athletes.

Your athletes only have these small wins once, and then it’s on to the next one. So celebrate them now!

Here are some fun ways to acknowledge your athletes’ growth:
  • Snap a photo of your athlete during class and use an app like the touchnote to send a personalized message congratulating your athlete on their accomplishments.
  • Comment on their PR's through Wodify’s social likes and comments
  • Send an SMS message through Wodify congratulating your athlete on their recent victory

Use Wodify’s insightful reports to help stay on top of your athletes' attendance history, performance history and milestones at the gym.

  • Check out the athlete attendance trend report to see if an athlete has increased their attendance at the gym on a weekly basis and celebrate their accomplishment.
  • Review the PR report to see recent PR’s at your gym so you can send a personal messages using Wodify conversations congratulating your athletes.
  • Check out the Athletes with Upcoming Anniversaries report to send an email to your athletes who have been sweating it out with you for over a year.

As coaches and gym owners we can’t watch another athlete say, “It’s a PR but not what I wanted” or “I should have done better.” We need to remind our athletes that the only person they are competing with is themselves. It's our job as gym owners to celebrate one pound, one double under, one more rep at a time.  Every achievement helps your athletes take one step closer to becoming better than they were yesterday and even closer to their bigger dreams.
