After a long winter of cold weather, holiday indulgences, and shorter days it can be hard to keep up with your regular exercise routines. As spring approaches, it's the perfect time to re-focus on building endurance and feeling like your best self while working out.

Here are 4 tips on how to rebuild your endurance after winter:

1. Start Slow and Set Realistic Goals 

Don’t push yourself too hard and risk injury or burnout! Begin with small, attainable goals and low-intensity exercises. Try walking or light jogging, and gradually increase the intensity and duration of your workouts over time. Have a clear idea of what you want to achieve and break your goals down into achievable milestones to help you stay motivated and focused on your progress.

2. Mix Up Your Workouts and Stay Consistent 

It's essential to commit to a regular exercise routine and stick with it! To prevent boredom and keep your body challenged, try to mix up your workouts by including different varieties of cardio and strength-training exercises. For example, try balancing your Jiu-Jitsu practice with functional fitness, and maybe yoga too.
