What we've been up to at Wodify

Every quarter we hold what we call a WUG — Wodify User Group — meeting. This hour-long session allows us to share our progress and vision with Wodify users, and gives you a sneak preview of what we have coming up. We rely on the feedback from these sessions to ensure that we’re creating features that you want and need as athletes and box owners.

We recently held our Q2 WUG and had a great turnout. We wanted to share the night’s key takeaways for those that missed it or weren’t able to stay for the entire session.

Wodify is growing. Wodify is now in 1,000 gyms worldwide and our users log 1 million results every month. Our team is growing, we’re moving into bigger offices, and we see no signs of slowing down.

What we’ve accomplished in 2014. In Q1 we brought retail, point of sale, and Shopify integration into Wodify — making it easier than ever for affiliate owners to sell gear in the box. We also released our native app for iOS and Android, set up the ability for owners to have multiple merchant accounts, and created Canada and Europe billing platforms.

Here’s what we have coming up on April 8:

  • Online waivers. Your athletes will be able to sign waivers online, making signing up for your box quicker and easier.
  • Generate an athlete’s next member plan. This eliminates the manual work of creating a new plan every time an athlete changes the terms of their membership.
  • Swipe to store credit cards. No more keying in their digits during sign up or when buying a product.
  • Option to auto-cancel classes that don’t have any reservations. Your coaches will automatically be notified, so they’ll never have to drive to the box for a cancelled class again.

Here’s what we have coming up on April 15:

  • Option to deactivate athlete at the end of member plan. You can deactivate an athlete at a future date of choice.
  • Remove auto-save on WODs. This feature will be replaced with a save button.

Looking forward into Q2:

  • Member plan re-arch to support online sales.
  • Australia billing.
  • SMS lead management.
