We are thrilled to share that Wodify CEO and Founder Ameet Shah was named a finalist for SmartCEO’s 2016 Circle of Excellence Awards. The award recognizes the area’s elite business leaders for their outstanding achievements and their contributions to the business community. According to SmartCEO, this year’s finalists and winners collectively generate more than $4.24 billion in annual revenue and employ more than 25,860 individuals in the Greater Philadelphia area. More than 250 executives attended the celebration at Vie to honor the finalists and winners. The presentation included videos from top companies in diverse industries, including healthcare, nonprofit, professional services, and technology.
Under Ameet’s leadership, Wodify’s revenue has grown 628% YOY from 2013 to 2015, and from 41 customers in 2012 to more than 3700 to date. His vision of helping gym owns and their athletes better track performance has grown into a thriving company with over 50 employees on two continents. Wodify is actively used in more than 71 countries by more than 750,000 customers.
Ameet’s deep commitment to the community led him to establish a philanthropic program at the inception of the company in 2012. The program, Givve, has provided thousands of dollars worth of time, product and profits to underserved communities and to schools, non-profits, the military, and first responder facilities.
