While it covers the basics, its reliance on multiple third-party integrations can create complexity as gyms scale and seek a true all-in-one system.

PushPress has a basic tracking tool, but it exists on a separately synced platform called PushPress Train. PushPress Train includes built-in community engagement tools and an integrated app in addition to its workout tracking capabilities. Pricing starts at $29, but increases with the number of members you have which can make the monthly cost unpredictable.

CRM and Automation

Wodify is the best all-in-one hub for managing leads and existing clients. The CRM tools work seamlessly with other Wodify tools like class scheduling, billing and performance tracking, so it’s easy for owners to manage every point of the client journey without Frankensteining together multiple systems. 

  • Lead Capture & Management: Prospects can be captured directly through online forms or your website, then tracked inside Wodify with a visual lead conversion board customized to fit your sales process.

  • Automated Communication: Owners can send bulk, segmented or personal emails and SMS to leads or clients whether it’s a reminder, a follow-up or a promotion announcement. The In-App Chat feature streamlines all of this with real-time communication between admins, managers, coaches and clients.

  • Member Tagging & Segmentation: You can categorize members by interest, attendance, or membership type and then target them with personalized campaigns.

  • Digital Contracts & Waivers: Legal documents can be automated for new clients ensuring your gym stays compliant

This makes Wodify a turnkey CRM solution that doesn’t require extra add-ons. You can pair the power of the CRM with your own Wodify-built website as well. 

Alternatively, PushPress manages CRM and automation through Grow, an add-on program. It includes the usual features like automations designed for lead nurturing and the ability to create custom funnels and sales pipelines, but since it’s a separate tool, it requires additional set-up, logins and cost. Users need to be mindful of disjointed tools requiring separate manual updates and also potential limitations with automations. Additionally, there could be learning curves with having to learn a system separate from its core platform.

Websites

Your gym website serves as the first impression of your gym, so it should reflect your branding and overall vibe. Wodify includes an option to add a fully customized and search-engine optimized website with built-in lead forms, class schedules, coach bios and membership purchasing—built and supported by Wodify.  That means along with the CRM and automations, you can get all of your marketing tools to sync seamlessly with your back-end management and daily operational tools. The website can serve as a home base for both your members and leads.

Currently Wodify offers website building as an included service in its highest-tier package. Otherwise it’s $99 per month with a build/set-up fee.

PushPress also offers website services, but through its Grow product which requires a separate software and login. The caveat here is that these websites are not custom built and are not designed to be used by existing clients. PushPress sites feature limited templates with minimal options for customization and branding because they are designed solely for lead generation.

Reporting Capabilities

Both softwares provide business performance reporting so that you are empowered with actionable data spanning from revenue to attendance. You can also track transactions and payroll, and forecast future revenue—all within user-friendly dashboards. 

Wodify takes it a step further with a business intelligence tool that allows you to build custom reports and dashboards from your business’ data. The tool also allows you to ask unique questions about your metrics and provides easy-to-understand answers which can be saved and referenced later on. Are you a visual learner or a spreadsheet guru? You even get to choose how your data is displayed.

  • Membership discounts: a report used to record each time a discount was applied to a membership and the aggregate dollar value of the discount
  • Client history: a record of account status changes for each client
  • Class attendance: includes an individual record for each class sign-in that occurs including all client attendances for previous classes
  • Lead tracking: a record of every lead ever created with contact information, conversion notes, status and lead source
  • Progression tracking: easily see which clients are assigned to each progression level, whether they’re still active and how they’re moving forward. You’ll also be able to track milestones with completion dates giving you a clear view of client progress from start to finish.

Wodify Pricing vs. PushPress Pricing

Pricing varies between PushPress and Wodify, with each offering tiered packages tailored to gym owners’ needs. Both platforms also provide the flexibility to add services and features, allowing owners to build a custom solution that fits their business.

The key difference lies in pricing philosophy: Wodify delivers an all-in-one solution with fewer external integrations required, while PushPress takes more of an à la carte approach, relying on add-ons and third-party partners. PushPress claims that its platform offers more financial control for gym owners—and at first glance, it may appear to be the cheaper option with package pricing. However, the add-on features (that you will likely need!) require third-party partners, and once those partners take their cut, “financial control” starts to feel expensive.
