We’ve put together the top five ways to get your gym new members. With the holidays right around the corner, there is no better time to start people on their health and fitness journeys.
Blast out an email to your current members about a referral program. This program can be set up in any way that works for your gym and financials. For example, ask your members to bring someone for free for 1 week during the month. If that individual signs up, your current member can receive a 10% discount for 1 month, a pair of shoes, or just gym recognition!
There’s a reason your members come back to your gym - allow their voices to be heard in the community. Ask your current members to write reviews on Google, Yelp, Facebook, etc. This will help show why your gym is the place to be when people are searching the web.
Create a challenge (we would suggest using Wodify Rise) and open it up to members and non-members. Get friends of current members involved and excited. This will get them hooked on the sense of community and wanting more once the challenge is over. Even better? Give them a discount for signing up at the gym post-challenge.
We already know that social media can be the absolute driving force of a business. There are plenty of great resources available to create content - and they’re free! Use Canva to create custom graphics, iMovie to create videos, and don’t forget to tag your members. Encourage them to re-share the content they are tagged in to generate even more interest.
