Wodify is a leading all-in-one fitness management software, trusted by 5,000 of the world’s top businesses. With one of the largest & most accurate datasets in the industry, we decided to create this blog series in order to share specific metrics that are proven to drive results, insights from the most successful gyms, and how Wodify customers can track their progress.
In the last Behind the Numbers blog we not only announced the businesses that won the 2021 Wodify Year in Review awards, but we explained how business owners can use data to improve business processes. Behind the scenes at Wodify, that’s our goal with the Behind the Numbers Series. We want to take the data we have and share it with you, so you can strengthen your business.
This year, we have a lot more data we are excited to share with you. We are kicking off 2022 with some food for thought: what would you do with 2 additional days off each month?
I know you may have just rolled your eyes thinking, “where are those 24 hours going to come from”?!
Wodify data shows that outsourcing programming saves business owners an average of 2 days of work a month, and therefore, saves money since you are logging fewer hours on payroll. On average, fitness business owners were logging 154 hours on monthly payroll before outsourcing programming. After subscribing to Wodify Workout Marketplace and using our partners’ integrated programming, these business owners logged 15 fewer hours monthly, or in other words, 2 fewer full work days.
So, back to our initial question, what would you do with an extra 2 days off per month? We asked those of you who follow us on Social Media and here are your answers:
Let us note that despite fewer payroll hours being logged with outsourced programming, the number of classes being held stayed the same. This shows that employees were on the floor coaching just as much as before, rather they were working fewer hours when not holding classes.
We all know that using an all-in-one fitness management software saves time and tedious effort, so you can devote more energy to growing your business and driving value for your clients. Much of the time, this value comes in the form of programming on the floor, or in other words, the actual workouts your clients are doing when they come to class. The better the workouts, the more satisfied your clients are. However, once you master the programming, you can take a sigh of relief knowing that your business management is simple and your programming is, not just solid, but invigorating.
Aside from enabling you as a business owner to spend your extra free time sleeping, hiking, working out, or vacationing, you also save some extra money. By default, logging less hours on payroll, means you are saving money on payroll.
Our data shows that outsourcing programming saves Wodify customers $215/month on average, which translates to be over $2500 in annual savings. This could buy you some new equipment, a couple of kegs at a company holiday party, or you could invest it in making long awaited repairs to your business.
For world class programming from one of our partners we charge a $149 per month, which means with this programming option, you’ll actually be making an extra $66 per month by signing up as opposed to spending money. That’s equal to $792 in extra cash by investing in enhancing your business.
Now that you have this enticing and motivating information, where do you go from here?
We hope you found these insights & advice useful for your business! Keep an eye out for more posts in this series as we continue to explore the data in Wodify.
